Landmark Funding: Spotlight on Memory Control Research
We are thrilled to announce that our pioneering project on memory control has been featured in a recent article by the Hankyung Newspaper. The Korean government has allocated 49 billion won to the Limit-Challenging R&D Project, a high-risk, high-reward initiative modeled after DARPA’s approach, which includes our memory control project.
The research aims to achieve selective and complete control of memories by optogenetic modulation of memory storage synapses across the entire brain, which will enable selective erasure and protection of specific memories.
This substantial funding highlights the significance and potential of our work, paving the way for new groundbreaking advancements in neuroscience.
